* First, what is the meaning of the job:

As already mentioned, a job means the action or activity appropriate to a person, thing, or organization.
And every part or organ in our bodies has its own functions that are important for the health of our bodies.

   * The liver has many functions such as:

Bile production: Bile helps well in the digestion of food. Bile consists of salts, cholesterol, water, and bilirubin.
Blood clotting: The liver plays an important role in blood clotting because bile helps in the absorption of vitamin K
If the liver does not produce bile well, the clotting factors will be lower than normal.
- Helps the liver break down fats to improve digestion
The liver helps store multivitamins such as vitamin K, vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin A, iron, and
Production of albumin, the main protein in the blood.

Second: What is liver function analysis?

There are several tests that you have to take, such as AST, ALT, GGT, Total bilirubin, and ALP, and they are divided into two groups:
Damaged liver cells (ALT and AST)
- cholestasis (ALP and GGT)
Reasons for elevated ALT and AST:
- It can be 100 times that of viral hepatitis even before symptoms appear.
In infectious and toxic hepatitis C, ALT is higher than AST, and the ALT/AST ratio is greater than 1.
When the ALT/AST ratio is less than 1
- Cirrhosis may cause a slight increase from the normal level to 5 times
Note: ALT is more specific to the liver, it only occurs in liver diseases while AST is more sensitive to other diseases
"The normal range:
alternative:
Men: 13-42 units/L
Women: 13-60 units/L
Newborns: 13-45 units/L
AST:
Men and women: 15-35 units/L
Newborns: 30-70 units/L

* Alkaline phosphatase:
Diseases of the liver and biliary tract such as biliary tree obstruction and liver disease show moderately elevated or even normal serum levels
Bone diseases such as Paget's disease and bone cancer
- Pregnancy

Females: (20-50 years): 42-98 units/litre
Over 60 years: 53-141U/L

* GGT “gamma-glutamyl transferases:
Causes of high GGT:
Obstruction of the bile ducts inside or after the liver
- Obstructive jaundice, cholangitis and cholecystitis
Primary or secondary liver tumors, fatty liver and alcoholic cirrhosis
Alcohol and drugs
